Notice of Warrant Holders Meeting

African Mining & Exploration plc (AME), the AIM listed gold exploration company operating in West Africa, announces that, further to the statements made in its interim results announcement for the 6 months ended 30 June 2012 in respect of the proposed extension of the 2010 Warrants, it has today posted a notice of warrant holders meeting to 2010 Warrant holders to convene a meeting (the "Meeting") to seek warrant holders' approval to extend the 2010 Warrants by a further 2 years from the date of admission to AIM. The Meeting will be held at the offices of Memery Crystal LLP, 44 Southampton Buildings, London WC2A 1AP on 26 October 2012 at 11:00 am.
